One demand VPN SSL Secure Infrastructure
The communication infrastructure solution "IPdiva mediation" is structured around a centralized platform, IPdiva Server managing authentication, authorization and audit (3A) services. This centralized platform interfaces with remote clients, IPdiva Gateway, located close to remote resources. These two functional entities IPdiva Gateway and IPdiva Server manage the secure exchange of information with remote end-points (such as a remote automation device and an administration platform) similarly to on-demand, application-base, virtual private connexions. The remote clients "IPdiva Gateway" are either proposed as software run-time on remote equipment (Linux, Windows, Windows CE based) or as dedicated systems (IPdiva Gateway Systems). These clients are also available as embedded libraries for specific machines (C Library).
IPdiva Server behaves like a centralized gate-keeper for external remote access requests. It ensures centralized management of Authentication, Autorisation and Accounting (AAA) services in order to allow on demand set-up of secure communications between resources and remote users or applications.
SSL encryption guarantees the integrity and confidentiality of the transactions.
IPdiva Server is supplied as a software licence (Windows and Linux) or as an integrated system (hardware and software) assembled on a generic PC platform (IPdiva Server System).
IPdiva Server is also available as a managed service operated by IPdiva. It is delivered through a subscription fee charged upon the number of concurrent access requested.
IPdiva Gateway is an interface layer between IPdiva Server and the systems or applications to be remotely accessed (Telnet Server, FTP Server, Intranet, Mail, Automations devices, appliances)
IPdiva Gateway allows selective and transparent access to these resources from outside using Internet.
IPdiva Gateway is installed on the internal network without specific constraints on the infrastructure hosting these resources.
IPdiva Gateway is available as a software client (Windows, Linux, Windows CE) or as a software library (C language) to be integrated in embedded environments (industrial gateways, home automation equipment). IPdiva Gateway is also proposed as a stand-alone platform (IPdiva Gateway System).
IPdiva Combo results from the software integration of IPdiva Gateway and IPdiva Server functions. It is proposed for single-site configurations without specific restrictions on the network infrastructure or the configuration the active network elements in place (router, firewall, proxy).
